Job Description: Big Greens Lawn Service and Snow Plowing, LLC dba: Big Greens is looking to fill 16 Landscape Laborer positions. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position from 4/1/2025 to 11/21/2025. Duties: Care for established lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, fertilizing, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, litter, leaves and debris. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant bulbs, flowers, foliage, ground cover, shrubs, and trees. Haul or spread topsoil, or spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Maintain and adjust sprinkler systems, to ensure proper amount of water consumption and to prevent waste. Install planters, sprinkler systems, and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units for landscaping purposes. Provide proper upkeep to flower beds, sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots, including shoveling snow and spreading salt. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows or pruning shears and pruning saws. May operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as work trucks with small utility trailers, mowers, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, snow blowers & other related Landscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org). Terms: Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and local employment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hours worked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed.
