Description We are seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our team in the retail furniture industry located in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on ensuring accounting procedures are implemented and adhered to as required. You will work closely with operational leaders, corporate staff, and other professionals and contribute to the growth and development of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and adhere to accounting procedures as required.

• Collaborate with operational leaders, corporate staff, and other professionals.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of GAAP and strong analytical abilities in daily tasks.

• Assist in the training of other team members to further the growth and development of the department.

• Handle an interesting variety of projects.

• Contribute to the professional growth and development of the team.

• Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.

• Prepare and record journal entries.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Conduct month-end close procedures.

• Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the retail or furniture industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Experience with general ledger maintenance and journal entries

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience in handling month end close procedures efficiently

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software is mandatory

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is desirable

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
