Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication within the office. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial reporting, making it suitable for individuals with a background in public accounting or related fields.
Duties
- Assist with general office management tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Support budgeting processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain the general ledger accounting system, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Utilize Sage software for financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by management.
- Conduct 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall office efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in public accounting principles and practices, particularly GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Strong experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and general ledger accounting.
- Proficient in using Sage software for financial management.
- Excellent financial report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient typing skills, particularly 10 key typing for accurate data entry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
