The Mental Health Technician Regular Pool provides direct patient care to psychiatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Mental Health Technician Regular Pool Responsibilities:

• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

• Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• High School or Equivalent

• FL Driver's License

• Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

• Preferred - CNA/PC
