We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Sales Trainer to join our growing team to deliver best-in-class new hire training for three distinct sales teams: Specialty, Institutional and Primary Care.

The Manager, Sales Training role will be based in the Bedminster, NJ office, and the successful candidate will conduct all new hire training in the Bedminster facility.

This role is critical to the success of the organization as it will provide the training and support needed for these new hires to have immediate impact in the field upon completion of their new hire training journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and facilitate training tailored to new hire sales representatives, focusing on product knowledge, marketing resources, compliance, and sales operations tools/resources.

  • Schedule all home office/field sales guests and speakers for new hire training classes.

  • Schedule and conduct role play certifications.

  • Update all training materials for both home study and live initial sales training when required.

  • Design engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and assessments for new hires.

  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their sales roles.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback, industry trends, and performance metrics.

  • Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, sales operations, compliance, and Promotional Review Committee (PRC) teams to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company objectives.

  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) content from a sales training perspective for new hires sales representatives.

  • Leverage technology to create efficiency and enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, education, science/biology/medicine/pharmacy preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales and 1+ years sales training experience in a home office environment required with Neuroscience experience preferred.

  • The role requires strong collaboration skills to work with key stakeholders in developing ongoing training programs.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills are necessary to effectively execute the responsibilities of this position.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Required technical abilities in use of various software/hardware platforms necessary to execute new hire training.

Manager, Sales Training – Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
