As a Traffic Clerk, you’ll play a key role in managing shipment records and ensuring efficient communication with drivers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Driver liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery drivers, handling check-ins, door assignments, and check-outs.

• Cash handling: Receive, count, and log cash payments from carriers (if applicable).

• Team coordination: Work with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and timely.

• Data management: Verify product quantities and maintain accurate records in the system.

• Scheduling support: Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-show, or unscheduled arrivals and reschedule appointments when needed.

• System updates: Enter scheduling information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Basic math skills to ensure accuracy in counts and records.

• Strong communication skills for working with drivers, teammates, and customers. English proficiency may be required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work confidently with computer systems.

• Ability to work in varying temperature environments, from cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) to dry storage (100°F/37°C), with provided PPE and freezer gear.

• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs./9 kgs., with requirements varying by facility.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed.

• Comfort working in environments with fluctuating noise levels.
