Job Description The Corporate Communications & Marketing Specialist safely performs position-specific responsibilities in line with Olympic Steel's Core Values to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. This role supports the management of the Olympic Steel brand, collaborates with key stakeholders to provide creative solutions for communications needs and plans, creates and produces effective written, graphic and digital communications elements. Using Olympic Steel's communications strategy as a guide, the Corporate Communications & Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating digital and print, written and visual content for Olympic Steel's commercial communications platforms, providing input for creative/design-related elements, peer reviewing team work for quality excellence, tracking and reporting role-related communications performance analytics and operating with exemplary project management and communication skills/practices in all stakeholder interactions. Some specific projects assigned to this role include leading Olympic Steel's social media engagement (including developing content, graphics and video clips) and analytics assessment, recruiting communications efforts, as well as projects related to growing the Company brand and representation in community and industry professional associations. This role will also be responsible for maintaining Olympic Steel's digital marketing assets library. This role will require periodic travel to Olympic Steel's Corporate Headquarters in Bedford Heights, Ohio and occasional travel to Olympic Steel's production facilities.
