HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Primary responsibility is to grow Ferrotec’s vacuum and advanced materials business through value selling and new program development. Activities include maintaining relationships with assigned customers, developing new prospects within the assigned territory, and coordinating communications with internal resources to support customer needs.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of our sales organization providing exceptional value and support to achieve our corporate goals and objectives.

Reports to the Director of Sales.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Meets targeted revenue goals within assigned territory supporting existing customer programs and driving new business opportunities within existing customers.

  • Develop new customers and programs that support the company’s value proposition.

  • Educates new customers about Ferrotec’s technology and related products.

  • Qualifies new opportunities from both technical and business perspectives.

  • Sets pricing using cost data supporting the businesses margin and revenue goals.

  • Document quotes that provide pricing, LT and information required to win business.

  • Coordinates company interaction with the customer from order initiation through shipment and thereafter using various communication means.

  • Works with manufacturing, engineering, quality control, customer service, and planning personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Communicates customer feedback to the organization to identify the need for improvement of existing products or development of new items.

  • Coordinates communication with the customer regarding corrective action and/or product design improvements for failed units.

  • Generates accurate forecasts monthly.

  • Participates in trade shows and follows up sales leads.

  • Provides input to the Sales Team, Product Managers, and the Marketing Communications group to support promotional, advertising, and communication strategies.

  • Document customer and new program development activities in Salesforce.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent (technical degree preferred)

  • 6-8+ years’ experience

  • Technical Background

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Experience with SFDC preferred

  • Ability to work independently

  • Potential travel 10-25%
