Job Title: Lab Assistant

Job Description

Perform testing procedures in a lab and prepare samples and solutions. Document and run tests for blood gas analyzers. Validate and test equipment. Follow instructions utilizing SAP and Oracle software. Run reliability tests. Assist with R&D projects.

Must have medical technologist or hospital setting experience

Essential Skills

• Experience with reagent and sample preparation

• Quality assurance knowledge

• Hematology expertise

• Medical Technologist certification

• Proficiency in Excel

• Experience with blood gas analyzers

• Familiarity with SAP and Oracle software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferably from a medical technologist or med tech experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting

• Comfortable using Excel

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a lab environment, closely collaborating with two other associates and reporting to a supervisor. Interaction with a customer compliance group of 4-5 individuals is required. The team is extremely collaborative, and there are opportunities to move into other departments based on performance.
