Job Title: Lab Assistant

Job Description

Perform testing procedures in a lab and prepare samples and solutions. Document and run tests for blood gas analyzers. Validate and test equipment. Follow instructions utilizing SAP and Oracle software. Run reliability tests. Assist with R&D projects.

Must have medical technologist or hospital setting experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with R&D projects

Essential Skills

  • Experience with reagent and sample preparation

  • Quality assurance knowledge

  • Hematology expertise

  • Medical Technologist certification

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Experience with blood gas analyzers

  • Familiarity with SAP and Oracle software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferably from a medical technologist or med tech experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting

  • Comfortable using Excel

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a lab environment, closely collaborating with two other associates and reporting to a supervisor. Interaction with a customer compliance group of 4-5 individuals is required. The team is extremely collaborative, and there are opportunities to move into other departments based on performance. The facility is growing and expanding, providing subsidized lunch for workers and undergoing a complete space reinvention. Holiday and vacation benefits are available during the contract period.
