Nike Principal, Enterprise Performance Management in Beaverton, Oregon

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Director, EPM Business Product Owner within the FP&A Transformation portfolio. You will work with a cross-functional EPM team including teammates from Technology, Financial Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Strategic Enterprise Capabilities. Additionally, you will directly engage stakeholders and end users across the Global and Geo FP&A function.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of delivering a large-scale technology implementation. Specifics include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education, experience or training. An MBA or relevant certifications preferred.

  • At least 8 years of experience in Financial Planning, Enterprise Performance Management or related roles

  • Proficiency with Financial Systems (business or technical)

  • Proven experience collaborating with technical teams to deliver enterprise-level systems

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and/or technology deployment projects, including platforms such as Anaplan, SAP, IBM, Oracle or OneStream

  • Preferred expertise in implementing and optimizing Anaplan solutions including Anaplan Model Building and integration, with a solid understanding of Agile Project Management Principles

  • Strong leadership ability with a deep understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in project/change management, idea creation, and cross-team effectiveness

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities; proven capability to effectively communicate status, issues/risks, and opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  1. Partnering with Technology Teams
  • Collaborate with IT to establish the technical framework, integration points, and implementation strategy for Anaplan.

  • Act as the primary business lead, translating financial requirements into Anaplan functionality.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Anaplan with enterprise systems, such as ERP and CRM platforms.

  1. Leading Anaplan Implementation
  • Direct the development of models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and reporting.

  • Participate in all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.

  • Incorporate best practices to ensure the efficiency and scalability of the Anaplan solution.

  1. Enhancing Financial Processes
  • Work with finance and operations teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies using Anaplan.

  • Ensure financial processes are aligned with organizational objectives and industry benchmarks.

  • Deliver advanced reporting tools, including real-time dashboards and insights.

  1. Project Management and Oversight
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver Anaplan solutions on schedule and within scope.

  • Establish governance to maintain model integrity, data reliability, and system performance.

  • Proactively manage project risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.

  1. Driving Change and User Adoption
  • Support change initiatives to encourage organization-wide adoption of Anaplan.

  • Support Design and deliver training for end-users, ensuring smooth integration of financial processes.

  • Provide ongoing support and act as a subject matter expert.
