myCUmortgage is looking for a professional who is passionate about Credit Unions and Partnerships. We are growing and expanding our footprint and heading west! If you reside in the Western United States, myCUmortgage is looking for our next Partner Success Manager to support our Partner Credit Unions in the Western United States. We are headquartered in Beavercreek, Ohio. This position will require regional travel within a territory and periodic trips to our corporate office.

With nearly 200 partner credit unions across the country, myCUmortgage provides comprehensive services, including origination, processing, underwriting, secondary market services and mortgage servicing, that meet the entire range of mortgage financing needs.

The Partner Success Manager provides exceptional leadership and expert guidance in building and strengthening relationships with client credit unions and their key personnel, ensuring success for all stakeholders. This position has everything to do with helping existing client credit unions become better mortgage lenders through a proactive and consultative approach, building and increasing volume, ensuring retention and satisfaction, and identifying, developing and presenting solutions and strategies.

1) S erves as the primary contact for partner credit unions, providing expert guidance that will continually improve adoption while ensuring retention and satisfaction with the lending and/or servicing relationship. Develops and builds trusted, strategic and expert advisor relationships with key decision makers. Attends or conducts regular meetings with partner credit unions. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. (30%)

2) Proactively works with partner credit unions to establish critical goals, develop actions plans and present solutions and tools that empower them to become great mortgage lenders. Provides expert guidance to partner credit unions by staying apprised of industry and market conditions for developing mortgage strategies to help more of their members with home ownership. (25%)

3) Assists partner credit unions by acting as an advocate on their behalf for non-transactional issues. Refers transactional issues to specific lending or servicing experts for resolution and then coordinates efforts with those experts to meet the credit union’s needs. Conducts ongoing, regular reviews with partner credit unions to ensure understanding and/or satisfaction. Follows up on myCUmortgage announcements—both lending and servicing—to ensure partner credit unions are up-to-date on the most recent information and best practices. (20%)

4) Successfully coordinates implementation, on-boarding and training of new partners with myCUmortgage lending and servicing experts. Facilitates any conversions of existing partners from one service level to another. (15%)

5) Assists with the myCUmortgage annual partner conference as well as state level trade shows, CUREN meetings and business events. Refers all leads for new partner credit unions to the Director of Sales. (10%)

Required SkillsThe Partner Success Manager is skilled and knowledgeable in the area of marketing and sales of mortgage finance and related services:

1) A bachelor’s degree in business is desired. Candidates who present an equivalent combination of formal training and experience specific to the mortgage industry may also be considered.

2) A minimum of three years of mortgage lending experience.

3) Strong interpersonal, communication and persuasive skills, including the ability to deliver both good and bad news.

4) Demonstrated ability to master web-based solutions, such as “web based learning,” Salesforce, Accenture Mortgage Cadence and Peer-to-Peer.

5) Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint.

6) Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data to develop strategies and plans related to existing partner credit unions.

7) Valid driver’s license.
