Eaton Corporation Procurement Manager in Beaver, Pennsylvania

Eaton's Power Components Division is seeking a Procurement Manager at a dynamic manufacturing site supporting the growing demand for its electrical solutions in Beaver, PA. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our team of Senior Buyers and Buyer Assistants. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our Supply Chain Team has the necessary information and materials to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with other departments to make informed decisions that balance inventory and freight costs.

  • Team Leadership & Goal Setting: Manage and lead a team of Senior Buyers and Buyer Assistants, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting team goals.

  • Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Drive supply chain improvements, supervise raw material inventory levels, and set control guidelines.

  • Material Planning & Monitoring: Use SIOP and Customer Service data for material planning and forecasting, and track inventory transactions.

  • Supplier Relations & Negotiation: Create commodity plans, negotiate with suppliers, and conduct supplier analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.

  • ERP Utilization & Issue Resolution: Use ERP systems and Lean methodology for procurement planning, and address invoice and receipt discrepancies promptly.

  • Procedure Evaluation & Process Adherence: Recommend improvements for purchasing functions and adhere to standard departmental processes.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering from accredited institution

  • 9+ years of experience working in supply chain including procurement

  • C.P.M. /CPSM or CPIM /CSCP certification (APICS/ISM)
