Summary This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Responsibilities You will perform technical work in support of the receipt of, disbursement, examination, deposit, and custody of cash items. You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, and compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the government. You will maintain ledgers, formulate budgets, and compile, consolidate, check, and arrange funding data. You will perform work to establish, maintain, correct, and close travel related pay accounts for active, reserve, or civilian personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Determining pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports; and establishing, maintaining, correcting, and closing pay accounts. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
