Chart Industries is seeking an HR Generalist at our Beasley, TX office.

The HR Generalist will serve as a business partner, providing professional support in the following areas: employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and career development, payroll, and other human resources initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about putting our people first, active follow through and talent engagement. A successful HR Generalist will be a nimble learner with the ability to apply strong problem-solving and sound judgement skills.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Full cycle recruitment and onboarding for entry level and professional positions

  • Look for continuous improvement of the People Strategy with emphasis in developing and retaining talent.

  • Support recruitment strategies to identify active and passive candidates through various sourcing methods.

  • Screen and interview potential candidates to assess qualifications and alignment.

  • Recommend qualified candidates to managers, coordinate additional interviews, and facilitate the selection process and knowledge shared process.

  • Champion Employee Relations inpartnering with leadership to mitigate concerns and align the businesswith our corporate values.

  • Management of small to mid-size projects including identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs, budget considerations, time and resource estimates, and defining the project scope and objectives.

  • Create and maintain communication plan to inform project status/issues/risk to business stakeholders and operational management.

  • Provide counsel, assistance, and problem-resolution services to employees and managers guided by the HR Manager, company's policies, labor-law legislation, state and federal requirements.

  • Understand, develop, apply, and coach employees for long term success.

  • Investigate questions and/or complaints; resolving employee relations issues and using each complaint/issue as opportunity to understand the true root cause and develop a plan to resolve it.

  • Work with all levels of the populationso they understand how they drive value for the company as a team.

Your Education Should Be…

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive human resources or recruiting experience, preferably within a manufacturing organization.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Lift up to 15 pounds

  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting

  • Potential regularexposure to the manufacturing area

  • Loud noise

  • Exposure to outdoor elements such as wind, heat, cold, rain and sun

  • Donning PPE in required areas

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to collaborate and build strong, trusting relationships across the organization and divisions.

  • Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to make unbiased, objective decisions based on investigatory facts.

  • Experience in proactive, cold calling, networking, and passive recruiting calls.

  • Ability to interview candidates and assess their capabilities of fitting in with the organization and position.

  • Embody a combination of "detective" skills, enabling them to find prospects and candidates, as well as sales skills, enabling them to influence and close candidate hires.

Desired, but not required:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
