Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking a U2 ISR MPC Information Technology Specialist to join our team of exceptionally dedicated professionals in an exciting, fast-paced, highly successful company.

The U2 ISR MPC Information Technology Specialist shall provide analytical, advisory, and technical expertise toU-2 MPC and 99RS activities. The Information Technology Specialist is primarily responsible for installation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of classified and unclassified MPC information technology aswell as to ensure 24/7/365 uninterrupted operations in support of global U-2 missions. The Information Technology Specialist will be engaged in all aspects of supporting and administering a mixed Windows and UNIXserver, desktop, and virtual environment, with a variety of different storage technologies and methodologies.

What You Will Do

The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all electronic technical data, regulations, and instructions are current on all electronic systems and physical storage locations

  • Identify, research, communicate, and resolve or recommend solutions to known technical deficiencies including innovating or improving on processes and procedures for implementation in MPC technical operations.

  • Maintain functionality of all technology equipment, software, and network at Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels as part of a squadron level Information Technology team.

  • Maintain active NIPR, SIPR and JWICS accounts

Subtasks – Information Technology Specialist Specific

  • Support, update, troubleshoot and create Active Directory managed accounts on multiple enclaves.

  • Participate in teaching and training members of work team and maintain proper documentation of any additional system changes, corrections, or general standard operating procedures.

  • Assist in technology stack, data analytics, continuous integration, process improvements/automation, and agile process efforts.

  • Continually evaluate new and emerging concepts, MPC software, and associated support system network to recommend changes and upgrades to 99RS leadership to maximize weapon system efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Corroborate with team members to maintain Cyber security best practices, including updating approved software, patching, performing STIG settings and following DoD procedures.

  • Perform basic configuration management and initial system diagnostics on desktop computers, laptops, operating systems, thin clients, and productivity software.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain squadron and MPC information technologies

  • Occasional night shift and on-call work is required.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year of relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Access to DoD Information Systems will be required to perform contract duties. At the time of contract award, the Information Technology Specialist must possess a valid, current certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M. The certification must be one of the following: Security+ CE (or higher), SSCP, or GSEC. Must be maintained throughout the contract Period of Performance for this TO.

  • Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to maintain Windows and UNIX operating systems, associated technologies, and interoperability.

  • Candidate must have the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, processes, and technical data in written, graphical, and verbal mediums to technical and non-technical audience.

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Must maintain a valid passport.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • B.S in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related, or equivalent job work experience.

  • Experience with C4ISR and/or United States Air Force information technology systems.

  • Ability to configure and manage enterprise grade hardware/network.

  • Familiarity with USAF cybersecurity policy and written guidance.

  • Experience with VMware backend and client management.
