Robert Half Business Analyst in Bayport, Minnesota

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the manufacturing industry, located in Bayport, Minnesota, United States. Candidates must be local to Minnesota and able to work onsite in order to be considered for this opportunity.

The main function of this role is to support, test, and validate changes by creating new data models and user reports. This role also requires engaging with individuals at all levels to gather application and data requirements.

Responsibilities: • Create and maintain new data models and user reports for organizational use. • Engage with different levels of individuals to gather application and data requirements. • Support, test, and validate changes in the system by reading and understanding the application code bases. • Read and write SQL to understand and manipulate data as required. • Utilize Microsoft Power BI for model creation and report writing. • Conduct end-to-end testing of applications to ensure functionality. • Document requirements and test scripts in accordance with Agile methodology. • Understand and implement ETL processes, including Informatica and basic data mapping. • Develop a high-level understanding of how to read code, including VB. Net, .Net, Vue JS (VJS), and Blazer/C#. Requirements • Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology

• Demonstrable understanding of Business Process Functions

• Experience in producing comprehensive Business Requirement Documents

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL for data management and analysis

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for business analytics

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
