FirstService Residential Property Administrator in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, New York
Job Overview:
As an Property Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the daily operations of a Mitchell Lama cooperative property in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Your Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and handle matters at the front desk
- Create and dispatch service requests using Connect
- Maintain delivery/move and all community calendars
- Collect payments for community room reservations
- Process delivery/move forms
- Responsible for uploading & maintaining property documents
- Collect and maintain insurance documents for shareholders and vendors
- Participate in resale/closing orientations for new or transferring shareholders
Skills & Qualifications:
- Zero (0) -Two (2) years’ experience in New York City residential property management preferred
- Must have superior verbal and written communications skills and proven customer service exposure.
- Need to have a high energy type of attitude to deal with the day-to-day tasks and able to multi-task under pressure and stressful situations.
- Must be extremely organized, consistent, and flexible and adaptable to change.
- Proven leadership and teamwork skills and attributes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Windows environment necessary.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Must be self-driven with the ability to identify, plan and prioritize projects and assignments and be able to hit important deadlines.
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and provide guidance to all employee and client levels.
