Description

One of Robert Halfs biggest clients is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join its DevOps/SRE Systems Engineering team.

In this role, you will have primary responsibilities of provisioning and supporting web and mobile applications within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will be expected to collaborate closely with various business engineering and production teams, gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer support.

We are looking for creative, proactive, and highly motivated individuals with strong communication skills. You will be responsible for creating task breakdowns to meet project objectives and ensuring on-time ticket and task completion, among other duties.

This position is hybrid, local to Orlando, and the working schedule is from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility.

Some nights and on-call duties are to be expected.

The onsite schedule is three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), subject to change.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-call support as required.

• Updates to monitoring

• Access management

• Root cause analysis

• Documentation - Runbook maintenance

• Working with product teams to deliver operational solutions

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and relationship skills

• Experience with ITIL, compliance, and vulnerability management and public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure)

• Proficiency in containerization, a programming language, and version control systems

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Terraform/Atlantis, AWS Cloud, Logging/Monitoring/Alerting tools, Rundeck, Chef, Ansible, Vault

• Knowledge of languages such as Go/Python/Node.js/Java
