Responsibilities
Works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. The Certified Nursing Assistant will function as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team under the direction of a registered nurse providing nursing care and other functions as assigned or delegated by the Clinical Manager. The Certified Nursing Assistant will function according to the State Nurse Practice ACT, nursing policy and procedure, and the Mission and Philosophy of the Facility.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
● Help patients with equipment for their treatment and help patients move to chair, or transport them to other departments for testing or treatment.
● Infection Control: Know and follow proper protocol in avoiding the spread of germs and spores which transport disease.
● Collects patient data such as vital signs; notes how the patient looks and acts, or responds to stimuli, and reports this information accordingly.
● Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/ automated systems and documentation practices.
● Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
● Monitors and documents treatment progress and patients' responses.
● Participates in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Successful completion of state-approved certified nursing assistant training program
MN CNA
BLS-CPR-within 30 days
Preferred
Previous health care experience
Pay Range
$14.78 - $20.33 /hour
