We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Front Desk Specialist/Receptionist in the Agriculture industry. The position is based in Battle Creek, Michigan, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handling front desk support and receptionist duties, including answering main phones and directing visitors.

• Responsible for setting up new employees with necessary training and forms.

• Providing customer service for new employee applications and appointments.

• Efficiently organizing files and maintaining a systematic filing system.

• Managing email correspondence and ensuring prompt replies.

• Utilizing interpersonal skills to engage with customers and staff.

• Taking messages and ensuring they are accurately relayed to the concerned personnel.

• Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized calendar.

• Performing data entry tasks for maintaining accurate customer records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist role.

• Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Microsoft Excel experience required.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Comfortable with email correspondence and capable of maintaining detail-oriented communication.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Proven experience in organizing files and maintaining a tidy workspace.

• Ability to schedule appointments, ensuring efficient time management.

• Familiarity with standard receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and taking messages.
