Kellanova Associate Launch Programs Manager in Battle Creek, Michigan

Innovate with us as an Associate Launch Program Manager at Kellanova! This position plays a role in the overall management and success of multiple product improvements, relocations, and new launches. Your efforts will help drive top-line and bottom-line business results. Your capacity for problem-solving and risk anticipation will be key to your success. This hybrid position is located in Battle Creek, MI but there may be flexibility for individuals in the Chicago area.

As a pivotal member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, spearheading the journey to transform concepts into reality. Specializing in Sweet Snacking projects featuring iconic brands like Pop Tarts, Rice Krispie Treats, RX Bar, Pure, Nutri-Gran, and Special K, you'll play a vital role in facilitating every step of the innovation process.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leadership and Development – You will develop, organize, manage, and execute complex projects delivering to cost, schedule, and performance. In addition, you will provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams and executives. Demonstrating leadership within portfolio and program management, you will support the company philosophy and direction within that discipline.

  • Innovation – This position ensures the innovation process enables the completion of key activities from idea to launch. This end-to-end leadership is critical so that senior leadership has appropriate information to make timely decisions at each approval gate for both top and bottom-line goals. Additionally, you will leverage an innovative mindset for continuous improvement of our processes.

  • Proactive Approach – Proactively identify and address potential business or technical issues within the projects and programs. You will ensure contingency plans are available from each respective function as required, while producing and executing schedules, managing milestones and technical details. This is all key to effectively meet company commercial launch targets.

  • Building Effective Teams – You will play a key role in setting goals and expectations, communicating updates and next steps. Motivating and building trust, together you will celebrate your project team’s successes. The ability to drive engagement among your team members and progress toward the team’s goals is critical for success.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and experience in R&D, Engineering, Operations or Business Management at a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels.

  • Negotiation and alignment driving skills.

  • Experience with innovation management as a functional team member.

  • People management and team leadership experience is a bonus point.
