Grace Health Administrative Assistant in Battle Creek, Michigan

Grace Health is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to provide administrative assistance in the Human Resources department. We offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Other perks include no nights or weekend work!

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not be all inclusive.)

  • Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite programs including, but not limited to, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems.

  • Proficient grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy.

  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make change accurately.

  • Skill in verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to calmly and appropriately handle patient escalations over the phone.

  • Skill in gathering information.

  • Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and external agencies.

  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Associate degree in business administration or secretarial program preferred

Experience: Three years of administrative experience preferred
