Chemours is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Stationary HVACR Aftermarket team! This position will report directly to the Aftermarket Sales Leader .

Primarily responsible for selling Opteon and Freon branded refrigerants to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts. Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory. Manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans for all significant customers. Use these plans to build partnering relationships with key decision makers.

  • Identify, map, and maintain frequent contact (through face-to-face contact), telephone and virtual meetings) with key individuals who most directly influence account penetration.

  • Works cross-functionally within Chemours to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through efficient internal coordination and communication.

  • Understands Chemours’ value proposition and competitive advantage versus the next best alternative and aggressively positions Chemours for growth. Uses existing market and/or industry knowledge to position Chemours as the go-to provider for sustainable HVACR refrigerants.

  • Keeps management informed of progress and account status. Leverages management with accounts, when and where appropriate. Utilize, maintain, and own consistent forecast processes.

  • Familiar with and utilizes applicable sales tools (such as CRM) to effectively plan and communicate progress.

  • Participates in professional organizations for reasons of personal development, customer relationship building, and industry networking within local market community.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or other business field.

  • 3+ years of sales, account management and/or business development experience

  • Experience in either the HVACR industry in an Industrial / technical industry

  • Fluency in MSOffice (MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc.) required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Position is remote and ideally candidate needs to be in the Midwest territory

  • Travel up to 70% of the time.

  • Proven track record of success in meeting and/or exceeding growth targets.

  • Preferably in B2B environment.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.

  • Effective cross-functional team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and results driven.

  • Navigate a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • Tenacious and resilient, with ability to solve problems and overcome hurdles.

  • Ability to manage time effectively when working remotely.

Pay Range (in local currency):

$105,280.00 - $164,500.00

Annual Bonus Target:

11%

Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
