GovCIO Project Manager 2 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Release Coordinator to ensure all aspects of the release process are properly coordinated and executed. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia and is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with various teams involved in software development, such as development, testing, and operations teams, to ensure that all aspects of the release process are properly coordinated and executed for any changes to Pipeline infrastructure and or hosting services.

  • Ensures that all necessary approvals, signoffs, and quality checks have been completed before deploying the release to production.

  • Ensures that the appropriate version control and release management tools are used to manage the release process and track the deployment of software releases.

  • Works with stakeholders to schedule and plan Pipeline and hosting infrastructure releases, considering business priorities, resource availability, and the impact on end-users.

  • Manages the communication of the release schedule and updates to all relevant parties, including business owners, stakeholders, and end-users.

  • Coordinates with support teams to ensure that they are prepared to handle any issues or incidents that may arise during or after the release.

  • Continuously monitors the release process and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall release quality of Pipeline for hosting infrastructure releases .                

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years release coordination (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: Secret with ability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $140,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
