SUMMARY: Responsible for pick up and deliveries. Responsible for receiving and storage of all delivered supplies. Material Management Only: Responsible for timely deliveries of pharmacy supplies, bank bags, mail, med-surge supplies, hospital equipment and special non-stock orders.

LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC-Batavia)

DEPARTMENT: UMMC Material Management

SCHEDULE: Evening/Nights

Attributes:

• High school graduate or equivalent
  
• Ability to read and write English and communicate effectively.
  
• 2 to 3 years of prior courier/delivery strongly preferred
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains work areas in a safe, sanitary and orderly manner, demonstrating proper equipment use and sanitation techniques
  
• Obeys all applicable laws and regulations dealing with operation of vehicle and DOT regulations.
  
• Reports all incidents, damage, accidents immediately to manager or supervisor.
  
• Assist in inventory control by maintaining organization and sanitation of coolers, freezers, and dry storage and by identifying shortages. Assembles and retrieves meals as required while maintaining food customer relations.Responsible for accurately filling and delivering supplies to units as required.
  

PAY SUMMARY: The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts..

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)

PAY RANGE: $17.25 - $18.25
