The Director position will be responsible for Technical Product Management for Verizon's SAP Supply Chain and Sourcing Products. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Device Supply Chain, Supply Chain Planning, Finance, and Sourcing to create solutions that optimize Sourcing-Contract Management, Contract Compliance, Order Management, 3PL Integrations, Order Fulfillment, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management. These solutions will increase process efficiency as we fulfill orders for Verizon's customers and strengthen our controls.
Your work will focus on business processes, enabling the roadmap and backlogs around key mission objectives, managing cross-CIO priorities, delivering features from concept to launch through agile delivery methodologies, ensuring value realization, and providing governance and support that delivers outstanding business results and user experience.
As a people leader, you will lead a large team of Verizon Technical Product Owners and 3rd party partners, and collaborate with the Global Supply Chain business (GSC) organization
Designing how systems, processes and data can work together to deliver an outcome or solution.
Determining how specific capabilities align with the integrated end to end north star architecture.
Standardizing Source to Contract processes.
Identifying and determining industry standard processes to design how they may or may not apply to Verizon.
Leading a large team of employees and 3rd party partners
Identifying and driving strategy for implementation of new systems and applications.
Driving strategy for upgrades and enhancements to existing applications (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and manages future software direction and enhancements.
Coordinating support for systems initiatives driven by other groups if there are impacts to financial systems.
Developing/assisting with project plans, including estimates, work breakdown structure and schedules.
Identifying key project milestones.
Ensuring all deliverables are achieved.
Leading Solution Integration for Device Supply Chain initiatives.
Being responsible for Oversight/management of all ERP priorities and projects across Verizon.
Identifying and resolving project constraints, issues and risks.
Monitoring adherence to scope and managing scope change process.
Establishing and administering project control procedures.
Maintaining project budgets, managing financials and owning vendor relationships.
Conducting regular status meetings to monitor project progress.
Analyzing and implementing corrective actions when progress deviates from plan.
Monitoring the quality assurance, deliverable acceptance, and sign-off processes.
Monitoring and mitigating project risk.
Maintaining continuous communications with the program management office.
Motivating and managing the project team using effective communication and leadership.
Identifying and organizing required external support (Verizon & Third Party).
Understanding/Defining Business Processes and integrated hand offs/dependencies.
Effectively partners with the business and IT for successful implementations.
Being responsible for Organizational Change Management oversight.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience with SAP or another large ERP platform Program/project manager on several SAP implementations with large and diverse teams.
Experience in the following SAP Modules (or comparable ERP modules) Ariba, S4HANA MM, SCM, MDG,SD, Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Bill to Cash.
Experience with managing and implementing ERP.
Experience managing resources in the Global delivery model and providing development and operational support.
Experience managing ERP Supply chain and Ariba Sourcing applications.
Experience managing large, dynamic teams in a fast paced environment.
Hands on and pragmatic approach to business, processes and user needs.
Strong customer focus and ability to recognize impact of decisions on end users.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with team members and external customers.
Strong presentation skills to all levels of management; ability to communicate complex concepts in a manner that is understood by the audience.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
