Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an Expert Level Manufacturing Engineer to lead an Automation Engineering Project. This role includes the installation, commissioning, validation, process implementation, and data management of 8-10 new Capital Equipment for our manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex automation integration, managing budgets of $1.5 million+ per machine, and will serve as the resident leader for the site, overseeing the process from concept to completion, recommending next steps, and presenting key information to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, commissioning, and validation of new automation machinery.

• Manage the process from concept to completion, including process implementation and data management.

• Recommend next steps and present key information to leadership.

• Oversee capital expenditure budgets of $1.5 million+ per machine.

• Read and interpret automation programs and PLC ladder logic.

• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing engineers and production members to ensure proper processes are implemented.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

• 5-8+ years of experience in manufacturing automation and automation integration.

• Expertise in reading and interpreting automation programs and PLC ladder logic.

• Experience in implementing and validating new automation machinery.

• Experience managing capital expenditure budgets of $1.5 million+.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• NSF Testing (Water).

• Spanish-speaking skills.

• Experience in machine installation, automated machinery, capex, capital expenditure, manufacturing process, process engineering, process improvement, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and lean six sigma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31/hr.
