NOVA Technologies Secretary in Barksdale Afb, Louisiana

The Secretary for the B-52 Program TS Barksdale AFB facility serves as the first point of contact for visitors and customers, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and secure office environment. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, including greeting guests, handling communications, and providing exceptional customer service. Various secured site coordination may be required. The Secretary will support the B-52 Program by facilitating effective communication, performing various clerical and administrative tasks, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless daily operations.

``` - Compile and create documentation or worksheets for various B-52 Program requirements such as actual trainer usage. May be required on a continuous basis such as monthly.

``` - Provide comprehensive administrative support to the B-52 Program, assisting with various clerical tasks as required.

``` - Perform general clerical and secretarial duties, including recordkeeping, assist with the management office supplies, facilitating mail, handling packages and correspondences.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in business administration, communication, or other field of study. An equivalent combination of education and years of experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.

``` - 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a front-office or customer-facing position.

``` - Familiarity with the dynamics of a professional office or training setting.

Supervisory Responsibility This position will not have authority or responsibility for the leadership and supervision of others.

Work Environment, Programs, and Tools While working in an office environment, this position will frequently be required to sit, talk, listen, use eye acuity, be on camera, and use hands/fingers to grasp or type. This position will also occasionally require walking, standing, stooping, lifting, and bending.

This position will also frequently require the individual to use the following tools, equipment, or programs: Computer, printer/scanner, phone, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project), Deltek Costpoint, and other office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position will be on site at Barksdale AFB, LA and will require adherence to the Government site hours of operation. This position may be filled by a non-exempt part-time or full-time hourly schedule. This position may require evening/weekend work and work outside of the Government site hours of operations when Program support is needed.?

Travel Significant travel is not expected for this position.

Security Clearance Must have an active DoD Secret Personnel Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within the first 6-months of employment.
