The Work This Senior Project Manager position leads teams of professionals in the delivery of environmental and remediation projects. Project diversity ranges from heavy civil construction to environmental remediation and deactivation/demolition projects. The Ideal Candidate Ensures the accurate completion of all work products, proper quality control / quality assurance measures are in place consistent with corporate guidelines, and work procedures are performed in a safe manner. Responsible for management and oversight of self-performed projects and work performed by subconsultants and subcontractors. Responsible for the overall financial performance relative to regional and project-specific budgets. Education, Experience and Requirements Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental and/or remediation projects. A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or another related discipline required Master's degree or other business-related qualification preferred Minimum 5 years of project management experience Proposal and estimating support. Lead and participate as a member multi-disciplinary team to take full responsibility in managing/directing challenging environmental programs involving a wide array of contaminants at numerous locations throughout the US. Serve as a Senior Client Manager. Coordinate with project leaders to determine staffing and scheduling requirements, project budget and delivery schedules. Monitor project functions, including short and long-term goals and objectives, coordinate project related activities. Manage project elements including client staff, scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and customer expectations for a variety of construction and demolition projects including remedial actions. Manage environmental projects or tasks from inception to completion including cost estimating, technical proposal preparation, work plan development, field work, and report preparation; involves overall task coordination with limited supervision. Lead, mentor, and train junior staff, providing direction, vision, and strategy for the company and the project. CTI has a commitment to growing within the environmental, engineering and construction fields. To accomplish this goal, CTI has committed to numerous college internship programs. These programs allow for training of students for work in these fields as well as providing potential employment opportunities for them. Senior Project Managers are expected to support these programs and provide mentors within their sphere of responsibility Display and demonstrate company ownership attributes including risk tolerance, business acumen, loyalty, and financial resolve.
