Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the non-profit industry located in Barberton, Ohio. This role involves working with patient registration, where you will be instrumental in providing exceptional client service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Registering patients and ensuring accurate data entry of their information

• Verifying patient's insurance details and explaining the process to them

• Conducting direct client interviews to gather necessary information

• Handling patient admissions and ensuring a smooth process

• Maintaining professionalism and a positive image at all times

• Utilizing MS Office tools to manage and update patient data

• Adhering to HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule while handling patient data

• Providing excellent customer service to patients and resolving any issues they might have

• Working flexible hours, including some evenings as required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Insurance Verifications and Patient Registration

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Knowledge of HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule. Requirements • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Previous experience in Patient Registration within a non-profit setting

• Familiarity and compliance with HIPAA regulations, particularly the Patient Privacy Rule

• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Experience in Insurance Verifications, with an understanding of various insurance plans and specifications

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
