The project controls team supports organizational processes from cradle to grave within the life cycle of EGO natural gas projects. This is a key leadership position that is primarily responsible for overseeing department resources, strategy, and execution of: Capital Project Prioritization Project Scheduling, Tracking, Analytics and Cost Permitting and Restoration Contractor Services, Relationships and Performance Are you interested? Here's what you will do: Ensure capital dollars are allocated to the highest priority, most critical projects, while achieving capital goals through use of short- and long-term detailed planning strategy. Lead team to organize and represent operational/compliance priorities. Responsible for the preparation of detailed asset analysis, financial planning, and fact-based decisions that will withstand regulatory scrutiny. Participate in the preparation and delivery of business case/rate of return analysis to determine factually if a capital expenditure is viable. Lead regular capital budget prioritization meetings with senior leadership. Manage the strategic relationships with EGO pipeline contractors and support contractors and develops strategies for maintaining appropriate capacity. Partner with Supply Chain Management on strategy and tactical plans related to bidding and blanket contract utilization, including working closely with the Design & Construction leadership team. Develop and maintains controls and reviews for contractor qualifications within competitive bidding. Lead development and execution of contractor metrics and reviews contractor performance. Engage all departments, as well as contractors, to improve productivity, improve efficiencies for job completion and property owner satisfaction, and identifies new methods to improve job quality. Responsible for controls, communication and reporting of contractor operator qualification requirements and drug and alcohol plans. Who you are: You have: A Master's degree and 7 years of related experience in gas commercial operations, utility operations or engineering OR a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience in gas commercial operations, utility operations or engineering OR an Associate's degree and 10 years of related experience in gas commercial operations, utility operations or engineering OR an HS Diploma/GED and 12 years of related experience in gas commercial operations, utility operations or engineering. Preferred Education Disciplines: Business, Finance, Engineering and Engineering Technology, and Construction Technology Effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of natural gas assets, operations, and maintenance. Knowledge and application of customer contracts, agreements, terms, and conditions. Awareness of applicable codes and regulations, design and construction standards, and project management methodology. Strong business acumen. You can: Effectively lead, collaborate, and motivate staff in a team environment. Effectively plan and manage multiple activities, resources, and time. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Assets: Financial acumen, regulatory recovery strategies and capital planning experience. Experience with Natural Gas Risk mitigation strategies. Knowledge of company operations, strategies, and business plans.
