prep cook/sandwich maker. 8 temporary, full-time positions.1 Apr 2025 to 30 Oct 2025. Deli Girl IncDBA DownEast Deli located at65 Main Street Bar Harbor, ME 04609. <bsvinc07@yahoo.com>. Prepare chicken, slice meats and cheeses, put deliveries away, make sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, set up and clean up kitchen area. 40 hours per week. Varying number of hours per workday depending on shift. Shift hours are: 5AM -1 PM; 7AM - 3 PM; or 3PM - 10 PM. Saturday-Sunday. Each employee will be required to work five days a week.OT possible up to 10 hours. No minimum education required.3 months experience is required.Travel will not be required. Employees will work at two locations within Bar Harbor that are within walking distance of one another. Both locations are in the same building.Wage: \$17.13/hour. OT Wage: \$25.70/hour. Workers paid weekly. Optional board/lodging available at a cost to be deducted from pay if elected. Cost of housing: \$125 per week. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least \$15.88/day during travel to a maximum of \$59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
