nVent Sales & Business Development Manager in Bangalore, Indiana

In this position, you will get to:

  • Report directly to the Director Sales–India EFS business of nVent

  • Led & execute key strategic commercial sales growth initiatives for ILSCO range of products.

  • Promote sales with innovative brands comprising ERIFLEX, CADDY, ERICO, etc. of EFS Portfolio.

  • Handle India's regional market through a technical value sales approach with end-users, OEMs, Consultants EPC’s, Panel Builders, etc.

  • Exposures to International and Domestic Standards and regulatory bodies driving it.

  • Familiarity with the commercial building industry and codes (International building codes & standards such as UL, BIS , IEEE, IEC codes, etc), as applicable to the electrical & fastening market preferred.

  • Appoint Distributors to increase reach & spread in Tier1,2 & 3 cities Tier 2 & Tier3 cities.

  • Work closely with Application Engineers and product management in APAC /Europe/USA for the right solutions.

  • Develop an understanding of market trends and the competitive environment

  • Formally provide input on pricing, delivery & other sales influencing factors to Product Management to drive sales.

  • Lead Customer consultations and negotiations.

  • Administration:

  • Provide Sales opportunities and market/competitive analysis reports

  • CRM like SFDC for pipeline and revenue management reporting.

  • Sales Forecasting

  • Handle additional organizational needs as & when necessary to meet overall business growth.

  • Ability to travel within the region 70% or more of the time on average.

  • Ability to make Technical and Business Presentations to Specifiers, C Suite etc.

  • Academic background in Bachelor’s degree in electrical from a reputed University/Institution with an MBA Sales & Marketing

  • Previous experience in or with Previous experience in 5 years plus experience in Sales and Business development experience in Low Voltage Switchgear/ OEM Sales

  • Technical sales Acumen with a focus on commercial sales closure is ideal

  • Experience working with end user customers and distributors on projects

  • Application engineering and product application a plus.

  • Channel management experience in a B2B electrical product industry

Skills

  • Relationship management- internal & external, including distributors & partners.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize time/workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated perseverance to follow up on open leads and convert these into sales.

  • Demonstrated achievement in sales, business development or product management.

  • Confident in understanding and using value-based selling approach

  • Understanding Digital Marketing a plus
