nVent Product Security Test/Audit Leader in Bangalore, Indiana

  • WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of nVent’s product cybersecurity verification testing program which is primarily aligned to the ISA/IEC 62443 4-1 Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)

  • Execute program activities and drive continuous improvement efforts to mature the program

  • Improve and maintain workflows in various tools

  • Evaluate new testing tools and processes for added efficiency, quality, and security

  • Oversee continual efforts to automate as much testing as possible

  • Responsible for verifying that all evidence of compliance to requirements are properly documented and stored for audit purposes

  • Assist in evaluating cybersecurity training tools and curriculum

  • Support development and maintenance of a calendar of recurring cybersecurity audits, assessments, and activities; track to ensure owners complete activities on time

  • Facilitate process to ensure list of tested products is maintained in appropriate nVent tools/databases

Work with product development teams to fill gaps found during verification testing

YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally 8+ years of experience in QA, Network/IoT, or Offer Testing roles

  • Familiarity with Test Automation Scripting tools/languages

  • Familiarity with daily activity planning tools such as Atlassian Jira

  • Familiarity with either Agile or Kanban work environments

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field

  • Experience with leading a team or technical leadership experience

  • Strong process development and reporting skills

  • Ability to successfully partner and collaborate across key functions including IT, product engineering, security, and privacy teams

  • Familiar with industry standards and best practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • YOU MIGHT HAVE:

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in Product Cybersecurity, Application Security, or Network/IoT/Penetration/Offer Testing roles

  • Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 4-1 Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) requirements

  • Familiarity with Static Application Security Test (SAST) tools

  • Familiarity with Dynamic Application Security Test (DAST) tools

  • Familiarity with Fuzz Test tools

  • Familiarity with Penetration Test tools

  • Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA) or Software Bill Of Materials (SBOM) scanning tools

Familiarity with Known Vulnerability Disclosure tracking tools (typically part of SCA or SBOM tools)
