Yorktel is currently seeking a Program Manager (PM) who will serve as the lead point of contact between the customer and Yorktel for the Office of Communication (OCOMM) Multimedia Service Contract. The PM reports to the Executive Vice President of Strategic Programs and acts as a liaison to the various Yorktel organizations that are involved with customer related projects and services.The PM interfaces directly with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the alternate COR, and the various levels of customer management. The primary purpose is to ensure communications remain strong, relationships are built and maintained, and excellent customer service is provided by all team members continually.Roles & Responsibilities: Manage direct and indirect interactions with all on-site contractor staff.Coordinate tasks and administrative issues with Yorktel Team Leads and various team members.Approve PTO requests, validate timesheets, and review/approve invoices.Create Team Lead evaluations and monitor Performance Improvement Plans.Report to and hold monthly meetings with the COR.Oversee all call orders issued under the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).Interface with multiple customer organizations, groups, and Task Managers purchasing services.Create and maintain various reports due at specific intervals; send documents to the COR and Task Managers as needed.Open annual Project IDs for time record-keeping purposes.Work on-site, with telework options during situations like Covid (as approved by the COR).Create Requests for Hire (RFH) for replacement or new positions.Collaborate with Team Leads to review resumes, conduct interviews, extend job offers, and onboard candidates.Coordinate with Yorktel Human Resources to collect resumes, set up interviews, and ensure timely customer suitability for hires.Maintain the OCOMM Run Book as needed.Assist in the writing of a response for an RFQ and other related documentation, which will be assigned to them by the EVP.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Abilities: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Work with customer executive level, mid-level management, and Yorktel staff.Demonstrate a solid financial background and experience of hiring staff.Exhibit strong negotiation skills.Proficient in using software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft programs.Be discreet, trustworthy, and capable of effective multi-tasking.Serve as a Key Personnel position.Ideally, have market research experience.Ability to develop and provide technical recommendations.Work on-site in Baltimore, MD.Education & Experience:Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Management.Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.Previous Program Manager experience is highly desirable.Experience working directly with a Human Resources Department for hiring and performance matters is a strong plus.Additional Requirements: Position may require significant walking between multiple buildings on the customer campus.Occasional travel to the Yorktel Office in Linthicum, MD may be required.Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between locations.May require occasional lifting to 25 lbs.Requires extensive sitting, standing, and walkingDomestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work areaValid Driver’s LicenseValid Passport: International Travel may be requiredMust be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contractsMust be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.Join us and you will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package, including 401k and Flex 125 plans.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
