ManpowerGroup Operations Manager in Baltimore, Maryland

Our client in foods manufacturing industry is seeking a Operations Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have food management, inventory control, and supervisory experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Baltimore (Fells Point)

Full Time - Permanent position with excellent Benefits

Pay Range: $90 - $110k (bonus available)

*Mainly 1st shift role, some nights, will be on call

What’s the Job?

  • Leads bakery operations, directly and through subordinates, in Production, Quality, and Sanitation to achieve all Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Financial goals in support of the Company Values of People, Product Quality, and Profit.

  • This position is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the production departments

  • Execute plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the Enterprise vision for Production Department.

  • Direct and oversee production supervisors and their roles and responsibilities throughout the day.

  • Drives employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment.

What’s Needed?

  • Minimum 5 years related Food Manufacturing experience - Manager level and above

  • Bakery experience preferred but not required

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience

  • Must have inventory control experience

  • Problem solving skills using tools such as FMECA's, RCA's, and SPC
