Job Description

The Indirect Sales Operations Specialist is an inside sales role responsible for supporting the Danfoss Climate Solutions NAM IDS and Heating Sales team in developing and strengthening customer relationships while maximizing sales. The Indirect Sales Operations Specialist is a member of the DSC NAM Sales Operations and Commercial Excellence team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Operations management for Reps and Distributors - Contracts, rebates, commissions

• Channel availability – demand planning, managing safety stocks for fast runners.

• Channel marketing activities – along with managing Pre-season and other specials.

• Support of the digital distribution efforts – online marketplaces and retailers.

• Collaborate with Sales, CSC, credit, fulfillment, finance, plants, or warehouse on key projects that generate revenue, expedite product sales, or increase operating efficiencies

• Provide sales team internal tool backup support: SAP, SFDC, Einstein, Pricing, BI, Product Store

• Support KAMs with new business expansion and special projects

• Handle pricing strategy implementation

• Visit Customers, as needed, to support KAM sales opportunities (10% travel).

Background & Skills

Basic Minimum Skills Required

• 3+ years of distribution/wholesale industry-related experience in sales or supporting sales functions.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred

• Creative thinker and should possess the ability to proactively resolve critical problems.

• Good organizational skills, have ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business.

• Professional, tenacious, and strong, convincing communication skills.

• Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Hands-on CRM process experience software and other common computer software such as MS Office Suite, and SAP.

Salary Range Disclaimer  

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  The range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
