Description

Are you passionate about human resources and eager to launch your career in this dynamic field? Our clients is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of their HR department.

Responsibilities: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. Coordinate new permanent orientations and onboarding activities. Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration. Handle inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management. Assist with organizing training and development programs for employees. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Previous experience or internship in HR is preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with benefits administration, recruiting, FMLA, employee relations, grievances, multi state labor laws and references.

  • Experience with HRIS to include PeopleSoft, SAP, Paychex Flex, Paycom and/or ADP Workforce now.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus. Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
