Primary Purpose

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

An attorney who will be responsible for conducting and overseeing investigations of alleged violations of Exelon’s Code of Business Conduct and other company policies. Other responsibilities include primary responsibility for management of the ethics case database, responding to inquiries from employees at all levels about compliance and ethics matters, developing and delivering training and other communications related to compliance and ethics, and preparing and presenting investigations-related data.

Primary Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and oversee investigations of potential Code of Business Conduct and other company policy violations, including writing investigation reports; present findings to company leadership and provide guidance on outcomes in comparable matters. Support other investigators including partnering on interviews and editing investigation reports.

  • Develop and deliver training and other communications on issues related to compliance and ethics.

  • Provide succinct and clear oral and written guidance on compliance and ethics matters to employees at all levels of the company.

  • Prepare and present investigations-related data to company leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in a state or the District of Columbia; 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Excellent investigative and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to be highly responsive and organized while managing a high volume of sensitive matters and assignments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading and overseeing complex financial or other data-intensive investigations.

  • Prior litigation experience

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $128,800.00/Yr. - USD $193,200.00/Yr.
