Schultz Construction is seeking motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our Millwright Apprenticeship program. A millwright is a skilled tradesperson who installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery in a variety of settings. As an apprentice you will learn a skilled trade through hands-on experience in combination with related classroom instruction. These programs require a dedicated individual willing to commit to a minimum of three and a half years training. Your on-the-job training will be guided by an experienced journeyworker. You will be producing high quality work while at the same time learning valuable skills that will lead you on a dedicated career path.Schultz Construction is a leader in the heavy civil construction industry with work on infrastructure projects in water/wastewater, site development and utility fields. A valid drivers license is required. Must have reliable transportation to travel to job sites. The successful candidate must affirm in writing that he/she is capable of working from ladders and scaffolds; in confined spaces; can wear a cartridge fitting respirator (full or half face); can work in extreme hot/cold/dusty environments; can stand and walk on uneven ground; climb and/or bend for prolonged periods of time and must be able to demonstrate good finger dexterity.
