Job Title: Hazwoper Certified Field Technician

Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of environmental services, is seeking a dedicated Hazwoper Certified Field Technician to join their dynamic field service division. This team operates throughout the region and beyond, delivering top-tier environmental services, including contaminated soil excavation, tank cleaning, industrial services, and various environmental remediation and construction tasks.

As an entry-level Hazwoper Certified Field Technician, your duties will encompass:

• Performing physical labor and heavy lifting.

• Utilizing power tools and equipment.

• Entering confined spaces when necessary.

• Assisting Heavy Equipment Operators (HEOs) with their tasks.

• Responding to and aiding in emergency spill clean-ups and other urgent situations.

Hard Skills Required

• Physical labor

• Hazwoper 40-hour certification (must have)

• Construction experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 6 months, offering the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Work Environment

You will primarily work outdoors, often on projects located out of town. Hotel accommodations and per diem will be provided for out-of-town assignments. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
