ASM Global Technical Engineer in Bakersfield, California

Maintain and repair of technical systems and equipment used during events at the arena.

Set up technical systems and equipment for events held in the venue.

Interact with client base during events and assist with any technical issues and or inquiries.

Research and make recommendations for the procurement of technical equipment.

A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency Years of related work experience: 1 - 2 Working knowledge of the following kinds of systems and equipment: audio, lighting, theatrical, professional video, telephone, and computer networking.

Excellent technical troubleshooting and customer service skills are required.

Use of multimeter is required.

Must be self-motivating, able to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects, and able to take direction.

Ability to work smoothly and efficiently under pressure.

Electronic soldering experience is desired. Fiber optic knowledge, understanding of Ohm's law, experience with theater rigging is also desired.

Position requires work to be performed at heights in excess of 80’ from ground and be comfortable working in high places. Must be able to walk on concrete floors 2-4 miles per work day. Position requires individual to be capable of lifting 75 lbs. Position will be scheduled to work weekends, nights, odd hours, and holidays.
