Position Title: Senior Win Pak Machine Operator Hiring Manager:Marta Corfield, Manufacturing Manager, Plant Management Location: Avon, Ohio Summary: Production Supervisor in directing and coordinating the activities of the Packaging department in set-up, operation, and clean-up of the Win Pak Form-Fill-and Seal Machine, conveyors, metal detectors, chill tank and any other applicable machines and equipment inside the room, according to the specifications of that day's production. Supports the Pack department as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Read and interpret production schedules to accurately pack Finished Goods Disassemble, clean, re-assemble and operate all packaging equipment Disassemble, clean, re-assemble sanitary piping, conveyors, and associated line components Set-up equipment according to production schedule Perform weight control and metal checks on product and record data Clean Win Pak Packaging Room and Equipment Complete all training defined and made available for the current assigned role. Responsible for attending all training made available assuring full understanding of the training and can perform trained activities. Assists supervisor in training new hires and others in his/her department, including the authoring of Standard Work/SOP/SSOPs. Situational leadership - Act as an interim back-up for Supervisor when out of office, PTO, off-site training, etc. Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives within the department and collaborates closely with the Supervisor or CI resources to accomplish these goals. Responsible for owning and sustaining the 5S process for the Win Pak production line. Participation in mid-year and year-end performance review of peers, i.e appropriate feedback to supervisor. Performs Autonomous Maintenance tasks that include, but not limited to, lubrication, inspections, minor repairs, calibration and regulation. Assist Maintenance in Corrective Maintenance and rebuild tasks as assigned. Responsible for the coordination and review of specific functional area BRC criteria. Ensure BRC protocols are implemented and audited as required. Provide employee training as needed. Ensure Food products meet safety, quality, authentic and legal requirements. Leads Tier 1 huddle and attends Tier 2, 3 huddles as required.
