Aston Carter Supply Chain Manager in Avenel, New Jersey

Supply Chain Manager | INTERVIEWS HAPPENING THIS WEEK!!

Job Type: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Avenel, NJ on-site

Compensation: $140,000 to $180,000 annually

Join one of the leading companies in the aerospace industry as a Supply Chain Manager. This is a permanent, full time and onsite opportunity in the Avenel, New Jersey area.

What you’ll do:

Direct production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.

Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.

Manage and monitor storage of purchased parts and finished goods.

Establish procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.

Assist with manufacturing floor layout updates and understand material flow through the building.

Perform write-offs or inventory for damaged or obsolete inventory.

Maintain inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.

Maintain and ensure accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.

Manage purchasing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams.

Negotiate with all suppliers/vendors.

Work with sales to understand forecasts.

Expedite materials for unit production.

What you’ll bring:

5 years of experience within Supply Chain - Aerospace (Preferred)

Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Business Management, and/or Materials Management

ERP Experience

Experience with direct reports
