The VP of Learning Business Partners will lead a team of Learning Business Partners to align learning and development strategies with ServiceNow’s business objectives. This role is responsible for developing and executing training plans that support both internal and external learning needs, including sales and product enablement.

The VP will report to the SVP of Global Learning & Development and partner closely with senior leadership to ensure that learning initiatives are strategically aligned with business goals, leveraging the GLD Learning Supply Chain and informing program design across ServiceNow’s University (SNU) schools. This position requires a strong ability to balance the needs of the business with the overarching goals of Global Learning & Development (GLD).

  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute comprehensive training plans that align with ServiceNow’s business goals and objectives, focusing on both internal and external learning, including sales enablement and product enablement for customers and partners.

  • Program Influence: Collaborate with the GLD and SNU teams to inform the design of learning programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and drive impactful outcomes.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Learning Business Partners, ensuring they have the skills and resources necessary to support the learning needs of the organization.

  • Business Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders to understand their specific needs and develop tailored learning solutions. Act as a key liaison between the business units and GLD.

  • Leveraging GLD Supply Chain: Utilize the GLD Learning Supply Chain to scale learning solutions effectively, ensuring consistency and quality across all training initiatives.

  • Balancing Priorities: Skillfully manage and balance the balance between business requirements and the strategic objectives of GLD, facilitating collaboration and alignment.

  • Relationship Building: Foster core relationships with wider support teams, including HR Business Partners (HRBP), Digital Transformation (DT), Strategy, Operations, and Marketing, to integrate learning initiatives across the organization.

  • Agility in Learning: Develop processes that enable agile learning, allowing training to be closely aligned with business needs while still scalable across the organization.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of training programs, making informed decisions to enhance learning outcomes continuously.

  • Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives related to learning and development, ensuring the smooth adoption of new training programs and processes.

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment is highly desirable.

  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective training plans. Experience in implementing and executing large-scale learning and development programs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building relationships and managing diverse stakeholders, including business leaders and support teams. Proven ability to navigate and balance tensions between business needs and learning strategies.

  • Process-Oriented: Experience in building processes that support agile learning and ensure training initiatives are aligned with business needs and scalable.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making in L&D.

  • Change Management: Experience in leading change management initiatives, particularly those related to learning and development.

  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with modern learning technologies, digital learning platforms, and instructional design methodologies.
