The Opportunity

Manages the activities of workers accountable for preserving site facility building and grounds in a clean, secure, and orderly condition and for maintaining/repairing utility systems as well as physical structures. Accountable for performance of Third Party Manufacturing facilities team in a critical medical device manufacturing facility that operated 24/7 with a cleanroom.

What You'll Work On

Collaborates with TPM to manage the activities of workers accountable for preserving site facility building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition and for maintaining/repairing utility systems as well as physical structures.

• Accountable for the performance of TPM facilities team and work output of managed subcontractors.

• Identifies and estimates needs for cleaning, repair, and preventive maintenance of buildings and building equipment; assesses and recommends staffing and contractor services to meet needs; arranges for and monitors contractors and employees in performing building maintenance.

• Arranges for and directs operation of main lobby, Receptionists/Switchboard Operators, voicemail system and other telephone services, building security operations including access control, surveillance systems and guards. Coordinates arrangements with Facilities, Information Technology (GIT), and vendors.

• Manages environmental safety at the site; coordinates use of experts as needed. Insures regular environmental safety training.

• Leads the Emergency Response Team (ERT) team in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback. Maintains a safe and professional work environment.

• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degreeorcombination of appropriate education and experience.

  • 9 years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A broad knowledge of the facilities maintenance field with significant expertise in one or more of the following specialties: electrical maintenance, plumbing, gas, pumps, heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), millwright, and pipefitting.

  • Preferred experience with cleanrooms and supporting 24/7 operations.

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.

  • Ability to travel approximately 25%, including internationally.

The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
