Areas of Opportunity: * Strategic Risk Management:
The Strategic Risk Management team comprises of 3 unique functions to support the business and customers: Data Solutions, Loss Forecasting & Reserving, and Sales Performance: (1) Data Solutions - Partner with the business to consult and translate business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights / data visualization. To be successful, you must be able to work in agile team, enjoy complex problem-solving, help formulate technical stories, and ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format. (2) Loss Forecasting & Reserving - Execute the Loss Forecasting and Allowance production, aggregation, and reporting for the Auto Retail Portfolio. To be successful, you must have a heavy analytical skill set and education in finance, economics, mathematics, and data intelligence is beneficial. (3) Sales Performance - Partner with senior leaders to create and execute incentive plans for Ally employees to achieve business objectives. Support Ally’s Auto Sales team by designing and configuring effective Dealer and Dealer Group programs. To be successful, you must have strong analytical / problem solving skills, very detail oriented, strong technical background, and understand risk management. All of these functions use a variety of tools - SAS, Snowflake, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, Python, etc. * Product Management - ConsmrProdInnov&Exp:
Our team relentlessly innovates, delivers, and optimizes Ally’s Auto origination products and services for our customers. We do this through 4 different functions: (1) Product Management - Enables strategies, products/process through consumer credit acquisition via platform, automation, and innovation. (2) Platform Management & Delivery - Manage business configurable solutions. Establish and maintain delivery standards. Manage, maintain, and execute quality and governance routines. (3) Strategic Planning & Initiatives - Partner with product owners/leaders to coordinate/manage delivery of initiatives and efforts. (4) Process Optimization & Automation - Drive business through process improvement, strategies creating revenue growth, reduce expenses/risk, and improve customer experience. We use a variety of tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Jira, Sequel, PowerBI, Java, FICO, DeFi, etc. * Consumer Strategy & Decision Science
We are a team of analysts and data scientists leading consumer auto strategy development and optimization. Using data and analytics, we work every day to asses performance and trends, find new insights, and implement changes to improve results across auto origination and collection processes. Some key skillsets to be successful consist of: strong problem-solving ability, learning agility, intellectual curiosity, technical proficiency, and communication skills. We use a variety of tools - Snowflake, SAS, Python, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
