Amazon Sr. Technical Program Manager, AWS GameDay in Austin, Texas
Description
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The AWS GameDay team is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering of programs and projects across multiple teams that support the technical management and enablement of AWS partners and customers across the globe. This TPM will be responsible for driving program standardization across global teams including stakeholder alignment, implementing mechanisms for cross-collaboration, interacting with various program teams, and coordinating across business partners and geographies.
AWS GameDay is an interactive team-based exercise designed for participants to use and expand their AWS skills in a realistic, gamified, risk-free environment. Participants are given an AWS account to share with a starting architecture that they will evolve in response to realistic business and technical requirements designed to challenge them. GameDay events delivered at public events and privately for customers provide awareness, enablement, and reinforcement of AWS services, best practices, and architecture patterns through open-ended experimentation. Our main goal is for customers to use GameDay as a learning mechanism which will ultimately help them operate their businesses smarter on AWS. We host GameDay events publicly at conferences such as re:Invent, and privately for customers ranging from startups to large enterprises.
