We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in machine learning and artificial intelligence, along with expertise in technical advising and project leadership. This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation:

• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques.

• Utilize popular AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

• Design and deploy NLP models and techniques, including text classification, RNNs, CNNs, and Transformer-based models like BERT.

• Implement generative AI solutions using technologies like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector DBs, and frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face.

• Ensure the development of robust end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages commonly used for data science and ML, particularly Python.

• Leverage cloud platforms and services for AI/ML, especially AWS, with knowledge of AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and other AWS resources.

• Technical Advisory and Mentorship:

• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams in integrating AI/ML solutions into business processes and products.

• Offer technical insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

• Lead strategic discussions and technology assessments to ensure alignment of AI/ML projects with business goals.

• Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of AI/ML solutions into daily business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of natural language processing techniques and Transformer-based models.

• Experience with generative AI technologies, including RAG, Vector DBs, and frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and experience with cloud platforms like AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to mentor and support junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

• Proven track record of managing AI/ML projects from conception to successful deployment.

Work Environment:

• Remote work within the United States of America.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
