Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Senior Specialist, Data Engineer (ref. Code 2025-106897 in Austin, TX.

Duties: Drive formulation of documentation, standards, and production support processes for the Cloud Data Warehouse production platforms and applications aligned with enterprise policies. Develop, maintain, and support large-scale and complex ETL and distributed Big Data applications. Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues affecting production applications with developmental and external team coordination. Own all production support issues advanced to DaRT until they are resolved, or a workaround is provided to end users. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outages. Ensure and carry out the Change Management hygiene for all changes propagated to production from a support and Steady State transition standpoint. Assist development teams at the appropriate stages in application development to ensure any new systems or projects meet the Production Readiness standards.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Employer will accept 3-year Bachelors degree or 4-year Bachelors degree). Requires 5 years of progressive, post-bachelors related experience. Related skills may be required.
